Great single track close to Taree.
Meeting Point:
Next to the tip entrance (grassed area) on The Bucketts Way (between Tinonee and Purfleet).
Full Description:
Worth a stop if you're heading up the coast.... actually, it's worth staying the whole weekend so you can really get stuck into it! You'll find a maze of excellent single track, about 40k in total. Can be linked up with many more kms of firetrail too.
Facilities:
The Caltex service centre on the Purfleet exit to Taree has plenty of food facilities and toilets. This is only 4km's from the trail head.
There are no toilet facilities or water at the trail head so make sure you have sufficient water and a method to carry it - in summer it does get very hot and humid in the forest so make sure you look after yourself.
Bourke's Bicycles in the main street of Taree is the place for all your bike needs, spare parts, maps etc.
