The Mont 24hr - Looking for a team
Submitted by dtomesek on Tue, 07/02/2012 - 20:00Hi,
My brother and I are looking to join a team for the Mont this year, we are 27 and 30 years old. Pretty keen riders, last year our lap times were around the 55-60min mark (hoping to go faster this year!). So if you need a couple of keen guys who are really good team members to join your team, let us know. We will pay for the entries! Shoot me an email at dtomesek@gmail.com
Cheers
Dom

A good strong roll up for this one. Looks like as day light increases so does rider numbers.
Just before the start I realised I had gotten oil on my pads. The rear was doing nothing, the front was best described as a speed retardation device.
For once I got in a small warm up and after the last couple of weeks of sprinting off the start and blowing up halfway around the first lap I tried to settle down on the start and build into it.

Leadville Trail 100 - August 2011
Submitted by Dibbler on Tue, 26/10/2010 - 22:31There was a flurry of interest in the Leadville 100 earlier in the year when the “Race Across the Sky” movie was showing at the cinema. Is anyone going to try and get to Colorado for the race in August 2011?

Dan has a little track on his property.
This one is shorter than the other 2 loops we'll be using but it's a tough little trail with some very fun bits
Track runs anti clockwise
Note!
This is private property and only open to ride on club days. Please respect the place and make sure we clean up after ourselves.

As the tracks are forever changing it only a rough indicator but may be of interest.

Merida X-Fusion 6Hr Enduro
Submitted by Eyeball on Thu, 11/06/2009 - 22:25 Our good friend Duncan at DIY MTB / X-Fusion has put together a six hour enduro. The race will be run on one of the sweet 'SCUM' xc tracks near Nowra. It is flowing single track with just enough fire trail added in to aid passing. It will probably follow a simillar format to the WWS. Deb and I have signed up and are looking forward to it.
Here is a link to the website. http://www.diymtb.com.au/6hour/
If someone could help me post it in the Ride Calendar / Race pages it would be appreciated.
Andrew
